
Company moves into SCHOTT North America – Lighting & Imaging’s facility as cooperation strengthens
July 1, 2009 (San Jose, CA / Southbridge, MA) – Today MORITEX Corporation (Tokyo, Japan) subsidiary MORITEX USA, Inc. (San Jose, CA) officially moved the location of their east coast office from Natick, MA to the SCHOTT Southbridge, MA facility that is home to SCHOTT North America – Lighting & Imaging. Since SCHOTT (Mainz, Germany) acquired a majority interest in MORITEX Corporation in the fall of 2008, the two leading optics companies have worked together closely to achieve their goals through cooperative strategies. Having already demonstrated successful cooperation in the areas of sales, purchasing and research and development, this move is another manifestation of cooperation that allows for the integration of people & ideas strengthening their ability for joint growth & synergy.
