Bar, Linear, & Oblique Type LEDs
Moritex strives to meet the needs of customers whose applications call for LED line lighting of all kinds. For that reason, Moritex offers bar light and linear light type LEDs, as well as square bar oblique LEDs.
MBRL Series
The MBRL Series bar light LEDs provide oblique lighting from any angle suited to the object by utilizing high luminance LEDs arranged in a bar configuration. This type of LEDs are good for applications such as:
LED defect inspection
Recognition of multiple shapes
Fabrication crack inspection
Shape recognition an dsize measurement of electronic parts.
Moritex designed these LEDs to serve as a replacement for straight pipe fluorescent lamps. Please see our IR and UV LED lighting sections to see bar lights at wavelengths of 839nm and 365nm, respectively.
MLNL Series
The MLNL Series of linear light type LEDs best meets requirements for linear lighting or for single dimensional linear CCD camera lighting. They can be utilized for the following applications:
The inspection of glas substrates for scratches and other imperfections
Inspection of boards and connector pins
Lighting for single-dimensional linear CCD cameras
** Square Oblique LEDs: MDQL Series **
This square arrangement of bar LEDs is perfect for illuminationing a relatively large area with oblique light. Objects can be illuminated from four sides at an adjustable angle. As is the case for most of our LEDs, they are available in red, green, blue, and white wavelengths. The MDQL Series LEDs are ideal for the following applications:
QFP & SOP inspection
Metal board surface inspection
Ceramic package appearance inspection

Moritex to Supply P&G with Scalp Moisture Sensor (Dec. 23, 2005)
Moritex USA Inc. finalized a deal to supply The Procter & Gamble Company with a significant number of scalp moisture sensor devices. The moisture sensor device developed by Moritex for P&G will be used to market products with dandruff preventative benefits within the Head & Shoulders® series.
