1973 - Moritex was established in February, 1973.
- Formed an exclusive sales agreement with Dilectrix Corp. of the U.S.. Promoted Electolet-Microphones using Dilectrix teflon film.

- Initiated business relations with Haritex Corp. of Taiwan.
- Established an agreement with Ultraspheric of the U.S. for the import of Ultraspheric plastic and precision tungsten-carbide balls into the Japanese market.

- Commenced termination and sales of plastic optical fibers.

- Established the Tamagawa factory in Saitama Prefecture.
- Initiated marketing of Acheson's electro-conductive paste for membrane switches.

- Acquired NTT's FC and PM optical connector manufacturing license.
- Initiated marketing of ballizing machines developed by Spheric Inc. U.K.
1984
- Moved head office to a larger facility in Sakuraga-Oka, Shibuya-Ku, Tokyo.
1985
- Established branch offices in Kyoto in February and Fukuoka in July.
- Tamagawa factory underwent renovation and enlargement. Started drawing compound glass optical fibers.
1986
- Established a license option agreement for superb accuracy Micro-Positioning Technology with CSEM of Switzerland.
- Started polishing glass ball lenses at Tamagawa factory.
1987
- Established Moritex U.S.A., Inc. In San Diego, California.
- Initiated development of a CCD microscope.
1988
- Established a long term agreement with ICI Stratos of the U.K. to supply FC/PC optical connectors to British Telecom and other telecom companies.
- Created the Imaging & Optical Instruments Department and a factory in Yono, Saitama Prefecture for the development and production of ScopemanTM.
1989
- Increased capital through a third party allotment making Ajinomoto Co., and Japan Energy Corp. stable shareholders, resulting in strengthened business ties with these companies.
- Commenced design and assembly of Machine Micro Lenses (MML) at Urawa factory.
1990
- Moved the Kyoto office to a larger location and increased staff.
- Started a full production line for optical ball lens modules (WD lens module) at Tamagawa factory.
- Developed a UV curing dispenser.
1991
- Opened Warehouse and Delivery Center at Tamagawa, Saitama.
- Increased capital of PM Industries Ltd. and then changed its name Moritex Europe.
1992
- Initiated a joint venture called Tohoku Moritex with Sendai Paper Board Company.
- Acquired manufacturing and sales rights for Ajinomoto's sample preparation robot (LC-ROBO). LC-Robo is used for analytical applications in HPLC and GC.
- Opened Tsukuba Sales Office.
- Started construction of the Zao Factory in Miyagi Prefecture
1993
- Commemoration Party was held in celebration of new headquarters building (Jingumae,Shibuya-ku,Tokyo) completion as well as the 20th anniversary.
- Established a Technical Center in Yokohama City.
1994
- Established a Bio-Technical Center in Kawasaki City.
- Established Light Pipe Co., Ltd. in Hiroshima City.
1995
- Established an agreement with ETREMA PRODUCTS, INC. Of the U.S. and created an ETREMA Project Team for marketing and application development of magnetostrictive rods and actuator.
- Kyoto office moved to the current location with increased staff.
1996
- Mr. Morito, President of Moritex, was honored with an award from the Director General of the Science and Technology Agency for his long term contributions to the development of scientific technology.
- Finalized an agreement with Yaita City, Tochigi Prefecture to build Moritex's new main factory.
- Unified Kohoku Technical Center and Bio-Technical Center and moved it to a new and larger building at the Yokohama Technical Center in Yokohama City.
1997
- Obtained production license to manufacture medical instrument according to the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law.
- Established KOLC Inc. in Yokohama
- Opened Kanazawa Sales Office
- Listed stocks on the stock market of JASDAQ (public offering of Moritex stock)
1998
- Made Technology Transfer Agreement with MicroQuartz Sciences, Inc. (current InnovaQuartz, Inc.)
- Completed Yaita Factory.

2003
- Opened New Yokohama Factory to consolidate telecom, bio and measurement machines, equipment and instrumentation.
- Moritex and Eiken Chemical reached an agreement in which Moritex develops, manufactures and sells turbidity measuring instruments for genetic screening by using gene amplification technology called LAMP patented by Eiken Chemical.
2004
- Worked closely with Electroglas, Inc. on the design of OEM optical components for wafer probing systems. Moritex began manufacturing large quantity production orders.
- Formed strategic partnership with Sagitta for distribution of Fiber Optic Process Equipment Tools.
- Acquired Bio Chip Div., Bio Science Div. and Nano Technology Div. of Japan Laser Electronics Co., Ltd.
- Production Technology Department, Yaita Factory and Saitama Factory have completed the ISO14001 registration, an international standard for environmental management systems.
2005
- Invested $500,000 in Phoseon Technology Inc. and signed off an exclusive distributorship in Japan.
- Agreed to contribute a strategic investment in Phoseon Technology Inc., an Oregon base venture to manufacture infrared optical systems.
- Moritex and Sensor Technology Inc., a CCD camera manufacturer, announced a Strategic Cooperation. As part of the agreement, Moritex acquired 21% share on the outstanding common stock of Sensor Technology Inc.
- Formed a strategic business alliance with the Japan division of Illumina, Inc., a San Diego base bio company listed in Nasdaq. Moritex entered into an analysis service of gene expression by using BeadArray technology owned by Illumina Inc.
- Moritex USA finalized a deal to supply The Procter & Gamble Company with a significant number of custom scalp moisture sensor devices.
