High Brightness Light Lines
MORITEX offers a variety of light lines that can provide optimal lighting for line scan applications.

MLNL Series
The MLNL Series of linear light type LEDs best meets requirements for linear lighting or for single dimensional linear CCD camera lighting. They can be utilized for the following applications:

The inspection of glass substrates for scratches and other imperfections

Inspection of boards and connector pins

Lighting for single-dimensional linear CCD cameras

High Brightness Light Lines: MLNX, COB and SMD Series
Our series of HB LED Light Lines provide high brightness illumination for today’s challenging line scan applications. They are available with either SMD and COB LEDs in a variety of wavelengths. Active air-cooling, passive air-cooling, and water-cooling options are available to suit your needs. The modularity of the design allows lengths of 120 mm to 3000 mm in increments of 120mm or 150 mm depending on the model. Continuous control and monitoring of the LED board temperature prevents overheating of individual LEDs ensuring safe operation. Constant current control operation eliminates interference with CCD cameras and results in unparalleled uniformity and performance for even the most demanding line scan applications.

May 1, 2010 (San Jose, CA / Southbridge, MA) – Today MORITEX U.S.A., Inc. (San Jose, CA), MORITEX Corporation (Tokyo, Japan) subsidiary, and SCHOTT North America (Southbridge, MA) have integrated the sales and customer service functions for their Machine Vision and Microscopy products. Since SCHOTT (Mainz, Germany) acquired a majority interest in MORITEX Corporation in the fall of 2008, the two leading optics companies have achieved various synergies and integrated the functions of numerous sites to better serve their customers' needs.

By combining the Machine Vision and Microscopy products sales & customer service in San Jose, customers now have a larger number of experienced support staff available to them. In addition, they have access to the full product portfolios of each company as well as MORITEX and SCHOTT's unique ability to provide customer specific solutions.

Company moves into SCHOTT North America – Lighting & Imaging’s facility as cooperation strengthens

July 1, 2009 (San Jose, CA / Southbridge, MA) – Today MORITEX Corporation (Tokyo, Japan) subsidiary MORITEX USA, Inc. (San Jose, CA) officially moved the location of their east coast office from Natick, MA to the SCHOTT Southbridge, MA facility that is home to SCHOTT North America – Lighting & Imaging. Since SCHOTT (Mainz, Germany) acquired a majority interest in MORITEX Corporation in the fall of 2008, the two leading optics companies have worked together closely to achieve their goals through cooperative strategies. Having already demonstrated successful cooperation in the areas of sales, purchasing and research and development, this move is another manifestation of cooperation that allows for the integration of people & ideas strengthening their ability for joint growth & synergy.

SCHOTT Acquires Majority Share of 70.8% in MORITEX Corporation

October 24, 2008 (Tokyo, Japan / Mainz, Germany) – It was announced today that the international technology group SCHOTT (Mainz, Germany) has acquired a majority interest of 70.8% in Moritex Corporation (Tokyo), a publicly held company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. SCHOTT had submitted a tender offer bid for Moritex Corporation on September 25, 2008. Prof. Udo Ungeheuer, speaker of SCHOTT’s Board of Management, considers the acceptance of the bid of 70.8% to be a clear sign of confidence from the market.
